Gulls! Carl holds the boat in at a lock. Tufty... doesn't. We decided we'd had enough of Carl, so abandoned him. He seemed suprisingly cheerful about this.

A rare photo indeed - the sun! The Cathedral at Le Mans, with colours projected on it at night. There were other animated projections on the Roman walls of Le Mans, but unfortunately it was impossible to get a good picture of them.
The Le Mans 24 Hour track in the background.... ...and again, but with me in the foreground. Evil Speed Ferries want us to "Fight the Pirates!". Nasty of them (this picture is dedicated to Dave n Kate).
