Films and Rocking on

by Phil Long

I’ve had a reasonably lazy weekend until today. Friday I stayed in and watched The Prestige, which was the first Blu-Ray I bought, but hadn’t gotten around to watching. It’s a brilliant film – well worth a watching – I shan’t go in to the details of it however in case people haven’t seen it yet.

Saturday I went and got a new battery for my watch, which has been without battery for about two months. After that I headed to TK Maxx to get some gear for my ski-trip in a couple of weeks. As a result, this became the subject of my day 75 photograph:

I finished the day with pizza from Dominos, a bottle of wine and watching Pans Labyrinth – another excellent film from my library I hadn’t gotten around to watching.

Today I’ve been to Brimham Rocks with Paul and Luci after deciding an adventure was needed; it was great to get out and my timing for getting a very warm coat couldn’t have been better. I also had some fortune in today’s Flickr Group Roulette theme – being ‘Imitation’; so I got my day 76 while I was there:

It was cold, but the sun was out – so it made it fairly good for photography, and the weather could definitely have been worse. I’ve got some sunset shots I’ve yet to process, but I’ll put them up tomorrow all being well. In the meantime, the rest are on Flickr. Click the image above or below to go there.
