Christmas Markets and 365 update

by Phil Long

This evening I finally got to go to the Manchester Christmas Markets after previous outings failing due to clashes with the pub quiz and people being away, etc. I went with Paul, Luce, Varls and James. A good evening, with bit of mull wine, german sausage and hot chocolate with rum (which the guy serving pointed out was a particularly good choice; which of course, as a connoisseur of alcohol, I already knew).

It was quite busy, despite it being cold and wet, but not too busy to make it a problem. I bought a few things as ickle Chrimbo presents – so a few steps closer to solving the nightmare of Christmas.

My 365 ploughs on with the unstoppable momentum of a something, and the latest pictures are below. Day 57 ‘Balls to this’ and Day 58 ‘In Dreams’ – which is a bit of a play with Photoshop filters and layers. It’s been a while since I spent a long time using Photoshop, so I’m very much out of practice – and even when I did use it, it was mostly black-and-white flyers for gigs and the occasional poster. Very little in terms of photographs.
