Karting at Three Sisters
by Phil LongLast night I headed across to Wigan with friends and work mates for a night of Karting at Three Sisters. It was a dark and wet night, and my first time outdoor Karting. Fear! The machines were twin-engined karts capable of around 70mph.
It was great fun, even if my first session racing I went around more than a little cautiously, letting down a top performance by team-mate Chris! I also managed to spin-out and stop slap-bang in the middle of the course as Jane rounded the corner. Ouch (and sorry Jane)!
Overall winners were Carl and Jane. Kate got hold of the result sheets and is going to get copies over to me to post the full results here - so watch this space.
