Lake holiday and pictures

On Saturday I returned from the Lake District after a week-long holiday with family. We rented the same house we went to last year - which is quite a big place with a huge window overlooking a Lake and the hills beyond.

The house on the left is the one we rented.

The weather was not as good as last year - though we did manage to have a couple of barbeques - on he first and third nights. I also got a couple of shots of the night sky one night - 30 second-ish exposure (camera set on Bulb, using the IR remote to open and close the shutter).

Despite the overall wet weather it was a nice and relaxing trip and the scenery really is beautiful.

Also visited a the aquarium at Lake Side and Trotters Animal Park somewhere near Cockermouth (stop sniggering at the back, Perkins!). Got a few good pictures between them.
