Today my new flash arrived for my camera. It’s a Canon 580EX II - and it looks like a cute little creature. Maybe.
I’ve been playing around with it this evening – mainly taking self-portraits, bouncing the flash off the ceiling and wall to get a natural light look. No doubt I will have to do a lot of discovery to get interesting effects out of it.
Also took a few photos with flash and long exposure, waving a lightsaber around. Because it has to be done. Pictures up on Flickr as ever (click either of the images above to be taken there).
