Trip to York

I went for a drive to York today with Paul and Luci after it was suggested in the pub after work earlier this week. As it happened I had been thinking I need to do a little more with my weekends and get out of the house - so it was good timing.

Set off about 11am - so it wasn’t to be a long day. We went around the “York Dungeon” which was fun - apparently very similar to dungeons in Edinburgh and London - basically you walk through a few different ‘nasty’ eras - with actors adding the frights here and there.

After that it was to the pub for Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding, before heading to York Minister.

I didn’t get a chance to take many pictures. The dungeon was too dark without flash, and using the flash would have ruined the atmosphere for everybody so I didn’t take the camera out of the bag. However, I do have some pictures up on Flickr, including Paul’s face…
